LIABILITY & PRODUCT USE
As part of our quality control, we at Gypsy and the Tinker ensure there is a warning label on each candle prior to dispatch.  

We are committed to best practice in   our production of candle making & product testing processes are thorough.  We are not responsible for the way you use our products, or for any loss or damage your misuse may cause. We highly recommend following warning label instructions.  Please also refer to disclaimer for products on this website, it is essential & you understand your responsibility to follow safety warnings for your candle purchases. 

WARNING LABELS
To prevent fire & serious injury, never leave a burning candle unattended or out of sight. Do not burn the candle for longer than 4 hours maximum at a time as the container may overheat & crack. Avoid exposure to drafts  & direct sunlight.  Keep out of reach of children & pets – especially pets with long tails.  Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.  Always place candles on a stable, level and heat resistant surface, avoid vibrations.  Never burn a candle on or near anything flammable, especially please be mindful of placement near window dressings & floor coverings. Handle with care as the container and wax may become hot, do not burn the wick below 5mm to the bottom of the vessel as it may overheat or cause the vessel to crack.

Burning instructions – Trim wick to ¼ inch (5mm) before lighting each time, keep candle free from any foreign materials including matches & wick trimmings.  Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Candle care tips and advice are provided as a guide on how to best maintain your candles and wicks for longevity, it is very important that candle warning labels are followed for safety.

It is your responsibility to carefully follow the warning labels for burning candles as listed above. Each candle has a warning label on the base of each container or packaging in the case of pillar candles.

It is your consumer responsibility to follow candle warning label instructions and follow directions on the warning label on the base of each candle container or packaging of pillar candles, to ensure safe practices are followed for your safety.
